Brody Bush becomes the first mens lacrosse player to be inducted into the Media Oldtimers hall of fame.

Jackie Baker ('05) (West Chester) earned Second Team, All-PSAC - Attacker

Women's DIII
Jen Pritchard ('05) (Franklin & Marshall) earned First Team, All-Centennial Conference - Attacker. Jen's four goals led Franklin & Marshall over Salsbury 11-10 in OT to win the NCAA DIII National Championship. (completed details @

Matt Spahr ('05) (Mercyhurst) earned First Team, All-ECC - Defense. Matt will also participate in the D1/2 All-Star game, Friday, May 22nd, 2009

2001 Alumni updates... [May 13th, 2009]
Jeff Bigas ('01) will begin his fourth profession season with the Chicago Machine.

The 2008 Men's NCAA Finals: [May 23rd, 2008]
Men's DIII
Scott Rumford ('06) and Eric Bishop ('03). Scott has appeared in 10 games and contributed one goal for the Gulls in 2008. While Eric transitioned from All-Americian to coaching. Salisbury will face Cortland for the National Championship in Boston on Sunday, May 31st, 2008.

The 2008 Woman NCAA Semi-Final and Finals:
Women's DII
Jackie Baker ('05) and Brittany Moore ('07). Jackie's eight goals paced West Chester in their Semi-final win over Limestone. Jackie led all scorers (4 goals, 1 assist) in the Ram's victory over CW Post to claim the Nation Championship. Brittany appeared in 13 games while collecting 5 goals and 6 assists.

Women's DIII
Jen Pritchard ('05). Jen's 71 goals on the season help Franklin & Marshall advance to the DIII NCAA Championship game. Jen's 1 goal for Franklin & Marshall in the DIII National Championship game.

2005 Alumni updates... [April 30th, 2008]
Matt Stubbe ('05) is a starting attackman for Millersville (Marauders). Millersville just finished their regular season at 9-1 in the Eastern Conference of the NCLL. Their only loss being to Lynchburg Club, Md., which was a 6-4 game. Matt ended the regular season with 24 goals and 6 assists. Ville begins playoff action against Lafayette where they will make a run at a championship.

2004 Alumni updates... [April 24th, 2008]
Tim Swierczek ('04) has just finished up his first season as one of the two goalkeepers on Temple University's Club Lacrosse team. The team plays in the Liberty League of the NCLL club lacrosse league. His team finished the season with a record of 4-8. Tim also plays the field, running midfield and attack shifts, registering 1 goal and 5 assists on the season. He was also elected team captain for the upcoming 2008-09 season.

2003, 2006 &2007 Alumni updates...
Eric Bishop ('03), Scott Rumford ('06) and Drew Brady ('07) meet before Salisbury plays Villa Julie. Drew collect a ground ball and add an assist for Villa Julie. 2005 Alumni updates...
Jen Pritchard ('05). Named 2008 Pre-Season DIII Player of the Year (details(. Jen's 19 goals in the 2007 DIII playoffs earned her the Most Outstanding Player award. Jen 77 goals are a Franklin & Marshall single-season school record. Jen's 4 goals helped Franklin & Marshall defeat Salisbury 11-8 win the D III National Championship.

2003 Alumni updates...
Congratulations to Eric Bishop ('03) on his signing with the Philadelphia Wings in the National League Lacrosse (NLL)!

The 2007 Men's NCAA Semi-Final and Finals:
Men's DII
Matt Spahr ('05) helped Mercyhurst advance to the finals in a win over New York Tech. Matt was also named All-ECC second team defense. Matt helped lead the Lakers to their first appearance in a National Championship game.

Men's DIII
Scott Rumford ('06) and Eric Bishop ('03). Eric's 4 goals and 3 assists help the DIII National Championship. Eric was named All-CAC first team attackmen and first team All-American.
Bishop added two more goals and an assist in Salisbury's 9-6 victory over Gettysburg.

2007 Alumni updates...
Sean O’Connor ('04) Media resident and Penncrest High School graduate Sean O’Connor was presented the Willensky Award at The University of Scranton’s 16th annual Senior Student-Athlete Banquet on Friday, May 11. (full story), Scranton

Brian Posthauer ('92) will be serving as Head Lacrosse Coach at National Sports Academy in Lake Placid, NY this spring.

2006 Alumni updates...
Eric Messick ('92) will play for Team New Zealand in the 2006 World Lacrosse Championships!

Tim Tyrrel ('04) was caught in action against Florida State. On the season, Tim has 17 goals 29 assists (46 pts) and averaged 4.60 points per game! Tim is attending Virginia Tech.

James Robinson ('02) Started 45 of 48 possible games while attending Muhlenberg College. James served as Team Captain Sophomore-Senior years. Scored 76 career goals - missing the school record by only one goal. James also finished his career: third in school history for hat-tricks in a game and fifth in school history for ground balls. Graduated with a 3.0 Majoring in Political Science and a Minor in US History.

Jesse Tarr ('01) Joins the Philadelphia Barrage at close defense after a steller career at Penn State. Jesse helped Penn State make the NCAA Division I playoffs during 3 of his four years, in addition to earning all league honors.

2005 Alumni updates...
Congratulations to Jeff Bigas ('01) on his selection by the Philadelphia Barrage in the Major League Lacrosse (MLL) draft!

Tim Tyrrel ('04) was caught in action against Georgia. Tim is attending Virginia Tech.

Penncrest alumni guide Notre Dame de Namur University to a top ten ranking. The Argonauts head coach, Joe Romano was a member of our first Central League Championship team in 1996.

2004 Alumni updates...
Salisbury won their second straight national championship defeating Nazareth 13-9. Penncrest alum Jeff Bigas ('01) was a major contributor on defense and team captain. Erick Bishop ('03) played in 10 games at attack, while Chris Swierczek ('01) saw action in 14 games between the pipes.
